Tom Cruise’s Latest Girl Cynthia Jorge Is Manager of Beauty & Essex

Tom Cruise was spotted at a club with 26-year-old Cynthia Jorge at hipster hotspot Le Baron last week, and their dancing was described as "straight out of 'Dirty Dancing'" according to a report. Other sources said Cruise and Jorge are "just friends," and that she was just showing Tom some of the city's hotspots as a Queens native.

Beauty & Essex - the lower East Side restaurant - was where the two made a connection. Last week, Jorge handed her business card to Cruise after Tom dined at Beauty & Essex where Cynthia Jorge works as a manager.

A friend of Jorge said, "She works at a hot place where she gets to meet people."

Cynthia Jorge once dated actor Seann William Scott, best known for as Steve Stifler from the movie 'American Pie.' Scott and Jorge first met at Benjamin Steakhouse when she worked there as director of marketing. According to the restaurant's website:

Benjamin Steakhouse is one of Top 5 star U.S prime steak restaurants. After more than 35 years in the steakhouse business, executive chef Arturo McLeod partnered with fellow Peter Luger alumnus Benjamin Prelvukaj to create Benjamin Steakhouse, located one block from Grand Central Station at the Dylan Hotel. Since opening in 2006, Benjamin's has established itself as one of New York City's premier steakhouses, attracting business professionals and celebrities alike.

Beauty & Essex is a grand 10,000 square foot restaurant, bar, & lounge in the heart of the Lower East Side. According to The New York Times, "For the last two decades, Lower East Side night life has largely revolved around dive bars with live music, worn-out pool tables and cheap drinks. Those seeking more exclusivity burrowed deeper, until they got to the rehabbed basement speakeasies of Meyer Lansky and Murder Inc., reached only with a password and some luck. Beauty & Essex nods to this past while shaping the future. Opened in December by the team behind Stanton Street Social, it offers bouncers, glamour and a hint of subterfuge. The 10,000-square-foot club has a proper lounge and an expansive second floor with dramatic lighting. Lower East Side night life, it seems, is moving up."
