The Pantone Café: Color-Coordinated Meals Will Make The Inner Geek In You Jump For Joy [PHOTOS]

A restaurant group has opened the Pantone Café, found in Monaco, which is a bistro that took inspiration from Pantone colors.

What sets this Instagram-worthy café apart from most is its color-coordinated snacks, with every dish "responds to a matching hue."

There's a dish called Pantone 16-1731, which is a strawberry ice cream that bears the same pink hue as the swatch itself.

On the other hand, you can also order Pantone 19-1625, an éclair topped with a chocolate ganache that also bears the same shade of brown as the swatch.

According to the pop-up café's website:

"Founded in 1963, Pantone is an innovate system for identifying, matching, and communicating colors created to solve the problems associated with producing accurate colors in the graphic arts community."

"Since, Pantone has evolved and is working with various industries in the world of fashion, design, art, painting, technology ... His [Lawrence Herbert's] strong concept is recognized and implemented internationally. It combines perfectly with the cultural place that is the Grimaldi Forum."

The Pantone Café is open early for breakfast, serving coffee and croissants. Not only that, but "throughout the day, drinks, sandwiches, focaccia, Italian snacks and homemade ice cream" are also available for order.

The Pantone-themed dishes are highlighted even further with their "saturated tones" of chairs, food trays, napkins, and even the look of the café itself.

The Pantone Café will remain at the promenade of the Grimaldi Forum, Monaco until September 9th. It has been open to the public since July 14.
