Mercedes-Benz has finally launched its newest Mercedes-AMG S63 as a part of its aggressive product strategy. The new model is the tenth issue of the luxury car maker for this year.
Eberhard Kern, the Managing Director of Mercedes-Benz in India revealed some details to the press. "The launch of a high-end exclusive sedan like Mercedes-AMG S63 is a fine instance of our successful top of the pyramid product strategy."
The new Mercedes-AMG S63 includes massaging seats to help drivers during long miles of travel. It also has a climate control front seats and equipped rear seats to make the passengers comfortable. The vehicle is powered by the V8 engine 5.5-litre bi-turbo that is able to make 585PS and 900Nm.
With its powerful engine, the car can zap from 0 to 62 km per hour in just 3.9 seconds and 0 to 100 km per hour in 4.4 seconds based on the claims of the company. The car has a top speed of 250 km per hour. Its features of the luxury car can make it compete with Maserati Quattroporte and BMW 760Li.
The new car model of the multinational company introduces new standards for cars in terms of efficiency, bespoke craftsmanship, lightweight construction and driving dynamics.
It is also the ninth AMG model of the car maker which it will be adding to its portfolio. The company claims that Mercedes-AMG continues to dominate in the segment strongly. Mercedes-Benz is proud of its own achievements and recognizes the strong rate of growth of the company in the industry.
Launching in India is part of Mercedes-Benz's move to gain costumer fascination in the country. The company aims to garner a stable spot in the Indian market.
Besides Mercedes-Benz, other car makers such as BMW and Audi are also planning to launch new models in the country. BMW revealed that it plans to release 15 car models in India this year.
Audi was ranked as the top luxury car maker in the Indian market during the year 2014.
