Secret Affair? John Stamos Jokes He And Rob Lowe 'Have Dated For Years'

Actors Rob Lowe and John Stamos, who have just been named as the Hollywood's hottest couple, joked about dating during the Television Critics Association summer press tour yesterday while promoting their new comedy series 'The Grinder', PEOPLE reported.

The good-looking actors, who are both 51, while talking about their new show in L.A. suddenly said something that that definitely had everyone shocked, causing jaws to drop.

During their interview, Lowe was asked if he and Stamos have ever had the time to bond over the years. Lowe answered while adding a bit of humor, saying that he's always wanted to include Stamos in a 'secret club'.

"As a founding member of Jimmy Kimmel's Handsome Men's Club, Stamos has been up for membership. So far, the board hasn't voted him yet," Lowe joked.

He went on saying, "Sting is really lobbying hard. David Beckham is blackballed, every time he's gotten close. But I am looking forward to when John eventually makes it in. It's a wonderful club and we enjoy it very much."

As soon as Lowe finished his statement, his fellow actor and partner who was at the back of the room, apparently shouted "Tell the truth, Rob! We've dated for years!"

As the interview heated up, the 'Oxford Blues' actor revealed more details about their past secrets, but later admitted that his memory of it was a little unclear.

"There's a rumor in my lost decade, I may or may not have sat on a lifeguard tower at a Beach Boys concert as John was playing the drums," Lowe said.

He added, "There's talk I did it. I don't remember it. I've seen footage of it, but I have very little memory. That was my John Stamos moment. He's a hell of a drummer."

Though the two actors obviously had a great time during their interview and show promotion, reports say that it might be their last team up for now as Stamos is also busy working on his new show, the Netflix reboot 'Fuller House'.

While Rob Lowe on the other hand, besides getting himself busy with the new series 'The Grinder', is also working on NBC's "You, Me and the End of the World."
