93-Year-Old Bodybuilder: Fitness Routine and Regimen, Interview Video

The latest phenomenon is of 93-year-old bodybuilder named Dr. Charles Eugster from the UK, who started weightlifting at the young age of 87. He explains his regular routine that helped him to completely change his body. See the video below.

"I was overweight," said Eugster. "I am extremely vain and I didn't like the shape of my body, so I joined a bodybuilding club and I hired a former Mr. Universe to train me. I usually train three, sometimes four times a week."

During Eugster's latest competition, he managed 61 chin-ups, 57 dips, 50 push-ups, and 48 abdominal crunches, completing each of the exercise within 45 seconds, BBC News reported.

His normal workout routine includes three to four times a week, two to three hours a day, with varying focus and intensity of each workout depending on which part of the body he is training. It can vary from weightlifting to rowing.

When asked why he did it, Eugster explained "I want to have a good body because I'm vain. And the idea is to turn the heads of the sexy young 70-year-old girls on the beach."

"In my opinion, anyone can do it," Eugster said. "But obviously it's like trading your old car in for a new one. If you have taken care of your old car, it won't cost you so much. But if you have neglected your car, it's gonna cost you a lot."
