Lacy Faddoul and Marcus Grodd tied the knot on Bachelor in Paradise season 2. Apparently the surprise wedding is just to boost the ratings, for the couple's ceremony was reportedly a fake.

"Bachelor In Paradise" just featured a wedding ceremony of last year's winner Lacy Faddoul and Marcus Grodd in Mexico. The winning couple exchanged vows on national TV, acting like they are really meant for each other. Unfortunately, the exchanged of vows were not legal. According to TMZ "the couple doesn't have a marriage license in either Mexico or the U.S."

The wedding, which was officiated by the host, Chris Harrison and attended by their friends and families has been a ratings ploy.

The source also revealed to the media outlet that the "real marriage won't be happening anytime soon" because Marcus is currently training for the coast guard.

According to Celeb Dirty Laundry the fake binding means absolutely nothing. The "I Do's" in Mexico "was all nothing more than a publicity scam" adding that the "fans of the show are not happy" with the fake nuptials. The website also concluded, "If Lacy and Marcus aren't even married, then that means the last couple from the show to actually make it are Sean and Catherine!"

According to Gossip Cop, they already reached to ABC for comments about the fake marriage but they "received a resounding no comment."

As a recap of the "Bachelor In Paradise," last year in the season finale, Grodd proposed to Faddoul. The season two kicked off with the winning couple's wedding on the Sayulita beach, Mexico. Friends and families went to the ceremony, but according to Gossip Cop, it is still unclear if the attendees knew that the wedding is a phony.

On the following day, the so called "newly bride" appeared in Bachelor in Paradise talk show to discuss the married life.
