With less than a year to go before Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool hits movie theaters all over the world next year, superhero fans will finally get a piece of what's coming to the character introduced in the "X-Men" universe, since the rights are owned by 20th Century Fox, the Marvel Cinematic Universe isn't involved in the project.
For months, the actor has been teasing Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool in the media, with the interesting twist that, even from the comic books, Deadpool actually knows it's a character, which makes him break the fourth wall very often - but now, it's time for some serious business on the matter!
According to Variety, the Ryan Reynolds Deadpool trailer was first shown during the San Diego Comic-Con earlier this summer and it generated an enormous amount of buzz during an event that also included trailers for next year's DC Studios films "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" and "Suicide Squad."
Now, Yahoo! News reports that the first official Ryan Reynolds Deadpool teaser will be shown next Tuesday night during Conan O'Brien's late night talk show "Conan," as Blake Lively's husband will be appearing on the TBS show to talk about his upcoming superhero role after his famously disastrous outing in "Green Lantern" back in 2011, although one great thing came from that, as he met his now wife.
The revelation that the official Ryan Reynolds Deadpool trailer would be shown on "Conan" came through the show's website.
"Ryan Reynolds debuts the new redband trailer for Deadpool," reads the synopsis for next Tuesday's episode. "We're filling up his dressing room with chimichangas in anticipation."
According to Zee News, "Deadpool," out next February, will tell the origin story of Wade Wilson (Reynolds), a mercenary who is exposed to experimentation that gives him superhuman healing powers, which ends up in him turning into Deadpool.
