After the release of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay- Part 2, everyone is assuming it's the last among the franchise set for the film. But it all changed when actor Josh Hutcherson gave hints about it not coming to an end and fans could expect more from the series. The Internet blew up with rumors of the film having another sequel and fans went a little getting excited about it.
According to Huffington Post, it was during a comic-con event that Hutcherson slipped and hinted the idea to Conan O'Brien saying there would be sequels coming for Hunger Games. When asked about further details about what he said, he suddenly backed out and stopped giving more clues regarding the subject. Meanwhile, there are sources from Lionsgate stating there is no sequel coming and all these rumors of having more films coming out of the hit movie series is something considered as a trick created by Capitol.
Huffington Post gets to the bottom of it and interviewed Hutcherson regarding the said rumor. And now the truth is out, as the actor said, "Yeah, I mean the truth is I don't know anything. I would like there to be more because they're really fun to make, and it's a fun character, but... afraid that I'm not clear on that one."
He continued saying, "If it does happen, at the same time it's like, it has to be something that Suzanne [Collins] really believes in. It has to be something that she creates naturally. It's not just trying to make more movies out of it."
Hutcherson has been very busy working with projects this year because he is also taking part in a movie that is directed by critically acclaimed director Ron Howard and the movie is called "Project Imagination: The Trailer." It is a short film that is already garnering a lot of positive words from critics.
