The fourth season of 'Arrow' will air anytime now, and the internet is asking the most important question about the development in Stephen Amell's sharp-shooting character: Will Oliver Queen finally sport the iconic Green Arrow goatee?
ComicBook.com recently wrote about Stephen Amell's lack of elaborate facial hair, somehow pleading with the actor to finally grow a blond goatee like the Green Arrow depicted in comics and animated features. The article showed an image of Amell with a hint at a goatee, although the picture was grainy and the facial hair could not be confirmed.
Stephen Amell must have had enough of the pleas, because the actor finally took to Twitter to respond to all the Green Arrow goatee requests.
However, he seemed to have changed his stand on the Green Arrow goatee decision.
Amell also joked that the 'Arrow' producers might not be pleased with the facial hair.
Hopefully, the world will still see Stephen Amell in all his goateed glory when 'Arrow' reaches Season Six. Meanwhile, Oliver Queen will be up against a new villain in the form of Damien Darhk. The character will be portrayed by Neal McDonough, who is best known for his steely presence and his penchant for playing baddies in films like 'Walking Tall' and 'RED 2.'
'Arrow' star Paul Blackthorne recently posted a Facebook photo showing Neal McDonough on the set of the show. "Nice to be working with Neal McDonough this season..." he captioned.
