In line with Marvel tradition, the superhero flick 'Ant-Man' had an excellent Stan Lee cameo and a whole basket of Easter Eggs. However, the most talked-about part of the movie is still the post-credits scene.
[PROCEED WITH CAUTION, SPOILERS AHEAD]
The 'Ant-Man' post-credits scene features Captain America (Chris Evans) and Falcon (Anthony Mackie) coming across Cap's former good friend and current nemesis The Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan). Bucky Barnes appears to be trapped in a vise-like machine, so Steve Rogers and Sam Wilson try to find a way to help him.
What is happening here?
Sebastian Stan recently spoke to BuzzFeed about the Ant-Man post-credits scene, where he confirmed what the machine is and what to expect in 'Captain America: Civil War.'
"I think [what Bucky was caught in was] more of a vise," Stan said. "But it would never happen at his own hand, by his own doing."
The Winter Soldier isn't likely to put himself in an uncomfortable position anyway. But fans are already coming up with speculations on what happened to Bucky Barnes. Sebastian Stan is aware of this and has a message for fans looking forward to 'Civil War.'
"I've seen some of the ideas people have about it and I would just say that whatever you're seeing on the surface, it's not as obvious as that," he said. "There might be a whole lot more to the scene. I would say someone would probably want to put him in a vise."
Bucky Barnes has been up against a lot of people in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. GeekTyrant speculates that the culprit who put him in that vise could possibly be Ironman (Robert Downey Jr.), Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), Crossbones (Frank Grillo) or Baron Zemo (Daniel Bruhl).
Sebastian Stan has previously played The Winter Soldier in the second 'Captain America' film.
'Captain America: Civil War' is set for release on May 6, 2016.
