Jaime King is beaming with happiness after welcoming her second baby boy into the world on July 16. The 36-year-old actress was able to introduce her bundle of joy to his famous Godmother.
With a week off from her 1989 World Tour, Taylor Swift quickly jetted back to Los Angeles to finally meet her Godson Leo.
Not only did Taylor get the privilege of meeting Leo and being his Godmother, Jaime also gave Tay permission to reveal his face to the world.
Taylor Swift shared a sweet photo from their intimate meeting shortly after Leo was born. “Meeting my boy,” the 25-year-old singer-songwriter captioned a photo of herself cuddling the newborn.
Taylor was so captivated by Leo Thames, she quickly posted another close up of his little finger clutching onto hers. She wrote “Your little hand’s wrapped around my finger and it’s so quiet in the world tonight…” quoting her own lyrics from the song “Never Grow Up.”
King also shared the photo, writing, “My loves meet. Baby boy Leo Thames and his God Mother = Bliss.”
The former 'Hart of Dixie' star previously explained to PEOPLE why she chose Swift to be her baby’s godmother.
“She’s such a beautiful human being,” Jaime King says. “For me, in regards to a godparent… that is a really sacred thing.”
“It was because of her morals and her values, the way that she treats people and how hard-working she is … her family and how close she is to them," Jaime King adds. "I see what she gives out there to her fans and to her family. That’s the kind of person I want to be the guide and the spiritual protector of my child.”
Even though Taylor was probably experiencing major baby feels after her meeting with baby Leo, fans should not expect her to have a baby any time soon.
Taylor Swift is happily in a relationship with Calvin Harris but she isn’t taking the next step with him just yet.
