Third Presidential Debate Schedule 2012, Last Presidential Debate Before Elections

President Obama will face off again with Governor Romney for the third presidential debate, scheduled on October 22 at 9 p.m. EST, which will be the last presidential debate before the 2012 elections.

Located at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida, and moderated by Bob Schieffer of CBS' Face the Nation, the debate will focus this time solely on foreign policy. Some of the big foreign policy items have been on the murder of four Americans at the embassy in Libya, China relations, and military spending.

Currently, polls indicate that Romney has a slight lead. Tuesday's Gallup poll had put Romney 4 points above Obama, still within the margin of error. But a 1-point slide for both candidates increased that gap to 6 points, an official lead. A poll from Rasmussen shows Romney up by 1 point, though that firm uses automated "robocalls" to collect data, a technique that tends to skew conservative. An IBD/TIPP poll from Tuesday has Obama up by 1 point, while a RAND Corporation poll puts him 5.2 points up. The well-respected Public Policy Polling firm has Romney up by 4 points nationwide on Tuesday.
