Honda has revealed its latest 2016 Accord model which is packed with advanced technology. Following the steps of General Motors, the new model is the first vehicle of the multinational car maker that includes Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
With the two new features, the new model is now considered the most high-tech product of Honda to be released in the market. The company has also taken a smart move to introduce the new vehicle in Silicon Valley, where most tech and startup enterprises are based.
The 2016 Accord Sedan and Coupe has a new dynamic style. It includes Honda Sensing to keep the drivers safe while in the car. A new Display Audio touchscreen interface is added along with the HD Radio. Heated rear seats is present and rear parking sensors.
The multinational car company will be offering a 9-inch wheel option for the first time. Buyers can choose from 2.4 Liter inline four and 3.5 Liter V6 which is the greatest engine of the car maker to date. The new car is highly efficient in terms of spending fuel.
The attached Android Auto supports Android 5.0 version and higher. Apps included are Google Now, Google Maps, Messaging and Music. Apple CarPlay, on the other hand, supports iOS 7.1 versions or higher.
The executive vice president Honda US John Mendel states that customers prefer cars that are integrated with their smartphones which they use every day. The company is dedicated in offering vehicles that will suit the needs of its buyers.
However, many have raised their concerns about the possibility of being hacked which allows hackers to take control of the car. With the advance technology available today, it won't be difficult for Honda and other car companies to address such concerns.
