OnePlus Launches New Smartphone OnePlus2

OnePlus has released its newest smartphone at a virtual reality event tonight. Before the scheduled launch date, the Chinese company has already prepared a system for its fans who wants to buy the latest device.

OnePlus has announced on its official site that the invite system for its second smartphone is now available. The same process was made for its first smartphone product. OnePlus 2 invites are now ready and live. The phone maker also prepared a reservation list which gives those who are part of the list a chance to receive an invite. Invites will be used to purchase the new smartphone.

Even before the launch date, many leaked information about the OnePlus 2 have already circulated. The company even revealed details like the dual-SIM support of the device. It will include a 3300mAh battery and a fingerprint sensor which will be faster than the Touch ID sensor of Apple's iPhone as the company claimed.

OnePlus 2 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 v2.1 SoC which can prevent heating problems. The new phone will have a RAM of 4GB LPDDR4 and a USB Type-C port. The company has also provided a hint for the exterior design of the device which might have a metal build.

OnePlus recently revealed additional details like the presence of OxygenOS in the smartphone. The company CEO Pete Lau has promised on a tweet that the price of the device will be under $450.

The new model is believed to have more than one variant, the A2003 and the A2001. The former will have RAM space of 4GB with a 32GB built-in storage space along with a QHD display while the latter will feature a 3GB of RAM and a built-in storage of 16GB together with a full-HD display.
