WATCH: Hilarious Fan-Made Trailer Combines Batman V. Superman with Randy Orton's RKO

Two of the internet's biggest viral videos have just been immortalized in this hilarious fan-made trailer on YouTube. The clip combines Batman v. Superman's action packed Comic Con trailer with another famous video sensation, the 'RKO outta nowhere!' memes featuring WWE star Randy Orton.

The RKO phenomenon began in October 2014, when Youtube user steveozzi uploaded a compilation of Vine clips featuring a crudely animated Orton performing his signature 'RKO' finisher in a variety of scenarios. The premise behind the clips are simple, find a video of someone falling down or taking an unexpected slip, and slap Orton on top of it.

Since their introduction last year, the RKO memes have shown surprising longevity as far as internet gags go. It seems the Internet can't get enough of seeing the WWE's apex predator slamming people to the ground. The video has been parodied to death at this point, with some sports stars even recreating the joke in real life on the field.

Now Orton has come face to face with his biggest challenge yet: Superman. The parody trailer makes use of the voice over from the Comic Con footage coupled with scenes from the Superman film Man of Steel and other summer blockbusters like Terminator Gensiys and The Avengers. There's also a hilarious cameo from yet another internet sensation, Shia LeBeouf's motivational 'Just Do It!' speech.

The video is certainly a step of from most RKO vines, with the animated Orton featuring a surprising range of motion some amusing facial expressions. The clip shockingly only has 200,000 views so far, but that should change quite soon.

At the very least it's a good diversion to keep occupied until the real Batman v. Superman film flies into theatres in 2016.
