It's been a busy time for Gwendoline Christie, the actress who plays Brienne of Tarth in HBO's hit series, "Game of Thrones." The 6'3" actress is currently filming for "Star Wars" and the final "The Hunger Games" installment, "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2."
But now, Gwendoline Christie is adding fashion modeling to her list of achievements as she stars in Vivienne Westwood's Autumn/Winter 2015/2016 campaign.
Upon announcement of the gender-bending message campaign, Westwood issued a statement: "Trousers for women, yes! Dresses for men, the same dresses that women wear? Do that! It takes a lot of trial and error. Dresses without a woman's waist!"
"But then you, the woman, look like a king or queen (from history or a parallel universe) - you the man look like a king or a queen! We love the change in proportion: the big shoulders give a small head - it's so sexual because it's new, it makes you look at the person from outside, it's all so sexual because we're looking at people with new eyes," Westwood continued.
Vivienne Westwood first announced of the partnership with Christie on the official Vivienne Westwood Instagram page. The look is far from the "Game of Thrones" armor typically seen on the actress.
The photo shot by Juergen Teller was captioned, "Described as 'a really interesting woman' by Vivienne, Gwendoline Christie was the perfect choice for our #AW1516 campaign. Photographed by @juergentellerpage #VivienneWestwood #GwendolineChristie #JuergenTeller."
Westwood says, "In this collection the same suit can be worn by a man and a woman - then I realized Gwendoline would be perfect and would fit the clothes so I asked her to do it. She is such an attractive woman."
"It's so relevant for Vivienne Westwood to re-assert their activist mind-set and create a collection that takes us beyond our current gender stereotypes with beauty and intelligence," said Brienne of Tarth.
The "Unisex" campaign follows Gwendoline Christie's catwalk stint for the Vivienne Westwood show at Paris Fashion Week.
