Fans of the 'Star Wars' were understandably excited when the Han Solo standalone film was announced. The movie, which will be part of the 'Star Wars Anthology' film series, will serve as an origin story for the smuggler who went on to save a princess and destroy the Empire.
As soon as the Han Solo standalone film was announced, people started fancasting for the movie. A notable favorite was Chris Pratt, who had previously claimed that his performance in 'Guardians of the Galaxy' was patterned after Han Solo in Episodes III to VI.
Another name that made the list of possible Han Solos was Anthony Ingruber. After all, the actor had an uncanny resemblance to a young Harrison Ford. Ingruber has even played the younger version of the 'Indiana Jones' actor in the film 'The Age of Adaline.'
It turns out that Anthony Ingruber can actually do an impressive Han Solo impression. The actor has posted a video of himself on his Youtube channel, and his Han Solo is spot on.
Ingruber was born in the Philippines and has lived in New Zealand, Australia and Canada, where he went to drama school. He has appeared in a few TV shows like 'Sensing Murder' and 'Karaoke High' before getting a small part in the James Cameron film 'Avatar.'
The young actor is best known for his amazing impressions that are posted on his Youtube channel. Anthony Ingruber also does an impression of Harrison Ford's 'Blade Runner' character Rick Deckard.
Although the videos were recorded a few years ago, Ingruber's skills have obviously improved since then. The actor's performance in 'The Age of Adaline' is very convincing. There may even be a possibility that he could be considered for the upcoming 'Blade Runner' sequel.
The Han Solo standalone film will be directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller.
