Taylor Swift Shares Stage with Transgender Model in Chicago Concert

Taylor Swift is on her 1989 World Tour. Stopping off at Chicago to perform, she calls onstage transgender Australian model, Andreja Pejic. Together with Pejic's friend, Victoria Secret model, Lily Donaldson, the gorgeous and hot trio danced together to Swift's hit song, 'Style'. Then they walked down the runway, holding hands and raising their arms to the crowd. This is trademark Swift, remarks Huffington Post.

They have officially become part of the elite crowd who has shared the stage with Swift. They are among the company of Kendall Jenner, Karlie Kloss, Cara Delevingne and Gigi Hadid.

Pejic, 23, was stunning in a white flowing gown with a slit that showed her black thigh-high boots. She made headlines as the first openly transgender model profiled in Vogue. She admits feeling a little stressed when walking the runway.

Right after her concert, Swift tweeted on Twitter: 'we shut down the runway', referring to their sexy strut on stage. Pejic tweeted back thanking Swift for letting her experience what it's like to be a pop star even for just a second.

1989 is Swift's fifth studio album released October last year. This is the first official pop album of the country music singer-writer.  It is one of the best albums released in 2014 as chosen by numerous music publications.  On its first week alone, it already sold 1.287 copies. As of this week, it has sold 5 million copies in the US alone.  It is heralded as the fastest selling album in over ten years.

The 1989 World Tour kicked off in Japan last May. This is the pop singer's fourth worldwide tour. It will travel through North America and Europe before it will hit Australia by end of this year. Chicago is the third stop of the North America leg, and the concert was held at Soldier Field.
