[WATCH] Jesse Eisenberg Discover Soldier Abilities In New 'American Ultra' Trailer! Kristen Stewart Carries Shotgun In New Poster [PHOTO+VIDEO]

Before the world will see Jesse Eisenberg take on Batman (Ben Affleck) and Superman (Henry Cavill) in 'Dawn of Justice,' he will first be seen as a love-struck stoner who turns out to be super soldier in 'American Ultra.'

Fandango has just posted the new 'American Ultra' trailer titled 'Weapon.' The teaser shows more of Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart in action.

The synopsis for the film is as follows:

"A stoner and his girlfriend's sleepy, small-town existence is disrupted when his past comes back to haunt him in the form of a government operation set to wipe him out."

The trailer also offers a hint that the government made Mike (Eisenberg) to be a sleeper agent who gets activated by a certain code spoken to him at a convenience store. However, when the agent speaks to him in the code, he simply responds, "Is that a song lyric?"

Mike initially doesn't act differently after the incident, but when he finds two men trying to break into his car, he allegedly slaughters them with a spoon.

Although a poster was previously unveiled at the San Diego Comic-Con, Fandango has also revealed a new poster showing Mike and Phoebe (Stewart) walking away from an explosion. Phoebe appears to be carrying a shotgun, which suggests she could be more involved with the fight.

After 'American Ultra,' Eisenberg is set to play Lex Luthor in the DC film 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.'

Although a picture of the actor had previously shown him with a shaved head, Luthor appeared with a full head of hair in the 'Batman v Superman' Comic-Con trailer. His appearance has led to speculations that the movie will show how Luthor lost his hair.

'American Ultra' is directed by Nima Nourizadeh and written by Max Landis. It also stars Topher Grace, John Leguizamo, Connie Britton, Bill Pullman and Walton Goggins.
