Can Riley Curry be stopped? The daughter of NBA star Stephen Curry and wife Ayesha has once again won the hearts of people all across the internet after her rendition of the popular 'Whip/Nae Nae' dance by Silento was posted on Instagram.
Riley's mom Ayesha posted the clip on her personal account and, like anything Riley does these days, it quickly went viral. As of this writing it has amassed 284,000 likes and 58,200 comments.
Sydel Curry, Riley’s aunt, also posted a video from the birthday celebrations. This time it was of Riley dancing along with Ariel from the Little Mermaid, who happens to be her favourite Disney princess.
Just last week, the adorable three year old stole the show at Nickelodeon’s second annual Kids Choice Sports Awards. Her dad took home three awards that night, Best Male Athlete, Sickest Moves, and Most Clutch Player and the camera crews couldn’t get enough of little Riley. They made sure to catch each of her reactions as her dad took the stage.
Riley rose to fame during the Golden State Warriors run to the NBA title earlier this year. She was a constant presence during post game conferences, accompanying her MVP father as he answered Journalist’s questions. Her cute reactions quickly took the spotlight from her dad and she’s been a fixture on social media ever since.
Last week, news also broke that Riley was going to become a big sister as the Currys announced the birth of their second child: Ryan Carson, another baby girl.
"The gift of life is truly an indescribable thing. We were fortunate enough to experience it all over again friday night! Our beautiful little Ryan Carson Curry arrived perfectly healthy and happy!" Said Ayesha on her personal blog. "Riley is completely enamored with her little sister and has taken on her role as big sister beautifully," the girls' mother wrote on her blog. "I am already so proud of her!"
Seems like good times in the Curry household.
