'Game of Thrones' fans have been so focused on finding out whether Jon Snow (Kit Harington) will return in Season Six that most have temporarily forgotten about Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) reuniting with the Dothraki in the Season Five finale.
It looks like there will be a new development in Dany's storyline, and Emilia Clarke herself is quite excited to get back to work.
The actress recently spoke to LA Times about her Emmy nomination, and she also offered a few hints on what to look forward to in the sixth season.
"Oooooh there's so much in store for [Daenerys]," she said. "I'm saying that obviously because I've read the script for next season. [Laughs] I know stories. It's really exciting."
Clarke dished on what will make Season Six an exciting period.
"Next season, I've said this before, but there's a lot of season where you need to (rightly so) kind of need to set the scene," she explained. "And you have a couple of episodes where you're like, 'OK, feeding information, I get it. We're finding out about this person. And we know about that person. And oh, there's that person.'"
Clarke confirms that Season Six will be different.
"But this season coming up, that we're about to film, there's none of that," she said. "It's just go, go, go, go. Shocking moment to shocking moment. Epic moment to epic moment. It's mental; it's epic. And definitely Dany's a part of it."
Emilia Clarke has been nominated for the Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama alongside 'Game of Thrones' costar Lena Headey.
Headey, who plays Cersei Lannister, had gone through a tough season when the character was thrown into jail and endured the controversial walk of shame to King's Landing.
'Game of Thrones' has been nominated for an astounding 24 Emmys, including Outstanding Drama and Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama for Peter Dinklage.
