Veteran Hollywood actor Ian McKellen did something on a Yahoo interview that just made him even more loved by the masses. And it is none other than reciting Taylor Swift's hit song Bad Blood out of her latest album called 1989.
The video has gone viral due to the eloquence and the kind of deep reading that McKellen did when he interpreted Swift's song in pure spoken words. E! Online said that he just once again showed the world his awesomeness and now everybody is also wondering if he would soon grace Swift's stage in one of her concerts after doing such a good job in reading her song.
But he didn't just read it. He did it with real drama going on that it sounded really cinematic. His X-men co-star Sir Patrick Stewart also joined him in reciting Swift's song. The popstar heard about it and eventually watched the viral video since her fans are starting to tweet her about it. She then tweeted saying, "Thanks for reciting my lyrics, @IanMcKellen and @SirPatStew! You've made my day. You two are ULTIMATE Squad Goals." She also included a montage of pictures of the two actors on her tweet.
McKellen indeed has made his mark as a talented actor in Hollywood that he could probably land any role just by showing up during the cold reading process of the casting. He didn't stop on Swift's song actually, because later on in the video, he also read Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson's song, Uptown Funk and it also gave a lot of people the chills. The artists have not replied yet on the actor's dramatic take on their song.
With a net worth of $55 million according to Celebrity Net Worth, it is no doubt that McKellen is a household name in acting. You can catch him on his new project called, "Mr Holmes."
