Stephen Colbert Interviews Neil DeGrasse Tyson, The Guy Behind Pluto’s Dwarf Planet Demotion – Scientist Remains Unimpressed! [VIDEO]

In a stroke of genius not unlike the former host of Comedy Central's "The Colbert Report," the new Stephen Colbert interviews now include astrophysicist superstar Neil deGrasse Tyson, one of the big responsible parties for Pluto getting "fired" from its status as the ninth planet of our solar system.

While fans wait for the comedian to take his spot as the new of "The Late Show" after David Letterman departed the show, Stephen Colbert's interviews with stars like Eminem have seen him reaching headlines somewhat often, and now, as the world falls back in love with Pluto after NASA the first up-close images of the dwarf planet, Colbert takes on Pluto's biggest perceived Earthling enemy.

According to Time Magazine, the new clip where Stephen Colbert interviews Tyson shows the comedian and host looking as giddy as always with the major scientific breakthrough, but continuing his ongoing "rivalry" with the former ninth planet of our solar system, Tyson is not impressed by the new photo NASA's New Horizons sent from the other end of our solar system.

The Verge reports that the video where Stephen Colbert interviews Tyson is filled with mock indignation, after Colbert introduced the Hayden Planetarium director as one of the world's biggest demoters, accusing him of not having feelings towards the dwarf planet when everyone else is completely infatuated with the celestial body.

"It's even got a heart, unlike you," the host tells Tyson in the latest of Stephen Colbert's interviews, prompting the scientist and "Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey" to defend himself by saying he had only been an "accessory" to Pluto getting demoted.

Back in 2013, Mental Floss released a list of "9 Angry Letters Kids Sent Neil deGrasse Tyson About Pluto," with little astronomy lovers attempting to convince the astrophysicist and science rock star to change Pluto back to the way it was.

Don't miss the clip where Stephen Colbert interviews Neil deGrasse Tyson and watch these two great men geek out about the new breakthrough!
