Less than a month ago, John Stamos from "Full House" made headlines all over the world after he was arrested over driving under the influence, barely a few weeks before the premiere of his new show - and it seems like things got out of control for the handsome star, who has now checked himself into rehab.
Best known for John Stamos' "Full House" appearance, having played Uncle Jesse in the show starring Bob Saget that turned the Olsen twins into superstars, the 51 year-old actor has been known to lead a fairly quiet life in his almost 30 years as a big name in the entertainment industry.
However, E! Online reports that John Stamos from "Full House" is currently going through a rough time after his DUI arrest after a source confirmed last Friday that Stamos had checked himself into a residential treatment facility.
According to Variety, John Stamos from "Full House" is currently undergoing treatment for substance abuse, though the details are mostly unknown - fans have shown concern over his upcoming projects, including the Fox upcoming show "Grandfathered," set to begin shooting in the middle of August.
However, the actor's reps have confirmed his current stint at the treatment facility will not be halting other filming projects.
On the other hand, Entertainment Weekly reports that John Stamos from "Full House" was set to co-host the Emmy Award nominations next week alongside "Orange is the New Black" star Uzo Aduba, but he's pulled out of the gig and has been replaced by "So You Think You Can Dance" hostess Cat Deeley.
In the past few month, John Stamos' "Full House" involvement has become news again, as the actor announced on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" that he would be producing a gender-swift miniseries reboot of the show that made him famous, starring Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber (reprising their roles as D.J., Steph and Kimmy, respectively) with himself, Bob Saget and others appearing for guest roles - with everyone but Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen on board.
