Volvo Car - The New Child Safety Seat Concept

After the photos and videos of the vehicle was released by the car manufacturer, parents became really interested in having one of Volvo's newest front passenger seat concept. The newest front passenger seat of Volvo features a built-in and adjustable baby safety seat tagged as the Excellence Child Seat.

Volvo Group, a Swedish multinational manufacturing company with its core activity in the production, distribution and sale of cars, trucks, buses and construction equipment ,the company displayed proudly their latest innovative design and modern creation on the 'excellent' front passenger seat.

On July 2, the Swedish car company announced the design of the 2016 XC90 with the Excellence Child Seat Concept.

The chief designer of interiors at Volvo Cars Concept and Monitoring Centre, Tisha Johnson stated, "We started by asking ourselves if we could make life easier for parents and safer for their children when it comes to the child seat experience," the chief designer also said: "We have always placed a great deal of importance on child safety, but this takes things to the next level."

Tisha Johnson said that the purpose of the vehicle is to get a child into and out of a child seat the easiest way while the driver or rear passenger allows eye contact to the child with the provided rear-facing seat.

A storage space is available underneath the seat, the baby seat can turn toward the door, and then locks in a rear-facing position - with parent and child closer together in the vehicle concept.

Johnson also said that heated cup holders that can keep a bottle warm is also available in Volvo's newest front passenger seat.

The Volvo company stated: "We focused on three key benefits, making it easier to get the child into and out of the child seat from an ergonomic and comfort perspective, providing the child with a safe rearward facing seating position. Volvo Cars have always placed a great deal of importance on child safety, taking things to the next level."
