The horrifying video footage of Paris Hilton screaming for her dear life was initially revealed as a prank. But Paris reportedly knew she was in no danger during the scary stunt.
Fans of the 34-year old socialite and television personality were really worried for her after she was a victim of a cruel “plane crash” prank.
The heiress was even ready to sue the company, claiming she had no idea it was a stunt and that she was in “mortal fear for her life.”
TMZ obtained a document prepared by the Ramez in Control production company that orchestrated the prank.
The document reportedly outlines the entire plan, saying that they will “act if something is going wrong” and how they would “monitor the funny reactions from our celebrity guest” for the Egyptian television show.
The document states, “We will act as if something is going wrong and ask all passengers to jump off the plane!!! Of course everyone will panic, we’ll be having skydivers in disguise with us on board.”
The doc goes on, “We will monitor the funny reactions from our celebrity guest when they fear jumping off the plane.”
It was also revealed that the show reportedly reached out to the reps of multiple celebrities about possibly taking part in the shoot. According to the document, Paris wasn’t even their first choice.
The public may have been fooled by Paris' amazing acting skills but the popular DJ proved that she is not a 'dumb blonde' by bagging a hefty pay-out for her role in the prank.
“It was terrifying. I’ve never been in a plane that was about to go down, so it was very scary,” she told TMZ during one of their ambushes.
“I think they went a little too far with their prank. That was not funny.”
Hilton was maybe involved and maybe just didn’t realize how far it would go. The prank was still scary and there’s always a chance something could go horribly wrong.
