The upcoming biopic about Apple's beloved CEO 'Steve Jobs' is already getting a lot of buzz due to the fact that he will be played by Michael Fassbender. The promo pics featuring the actor as Steve Jobs are being considered a great transformation.
Universal Pictures has already released a 60-second trailer that generated much excitement for the film. The new full length trailer showcases more of Fassbender, as well as his costars Kate Winslet, Seth Rogen and Katherine Waterston.
The film synopsis reads as follows:
"Set backstage at three iconic product launches and ending in 1998 with the unveiling of the iMac, Steve Jobs takes us behind the scenes of the digital revolution to paint an intimate portrait of the brilliant man at its epicenter."
The trailer starts out with Steve Wozniak (Rogen) asking Jobs, "What do you do?" Jobs' response was perfect. "Musicians play their instruments. I play the orchestra." It also shows the several difficulties the Apple CEO went through, from getting his people to fix system errors to dealing with his girlfriend (Waterston) and their daughter.
The clip also shows how Fassbender play Steve Jobs from his early years as a college student until the triumphant release of the iMac.
The 'Steve Jobs' trailer offers a glimpse at Winslet as Joanna Hoffman, Waterston as Chrisann Brennan and Jeff Daniels as John Sculley.
Fassbender is not the first actor to portray Steve Jobs. Ashton Kutcher has also played the Apple CEO in the 2013 film 'Jobs.'
'Steve Jobs' is based on the biography written by Walter Isaacson. The film is directed by Danny Boyle, who is best known for his work on movies like '28 Days Later,' 'Sunshine' and 'Slumdog Millionaire.'
Boyle has said that working on the movie has been easy. "Once we got it going, it went very quickly," the director said.
'Steve Jobs' will be released on October 9, 2015.
