It was just recently all over the internet that Iggy Azalea and Britney Spears had a Twitter fight over the weekend. After the Aussie rapper blamed the 'Toxic' singer for the flop of their single and video 'Pretty Girls,' the music artists took everything on social media and had a flaming exchange of rants. Now it turns out that Azalea "was difficult" while shooting the music video for their single.
A source told US Weekly, the 'Fancy' singer was difficult to work with when it regards to doing the 'Pretty Girls' music video.
According to the source, "Iggy was difficult with respect to direction of [the] video. Everyone just got fed up and didn't want to deal with it. Britney, being a veteran artist, was tired of arguing."
The source also revealed that the rapper, 25, tried to direct everyone on the set, including Spears, 33.
"'Pretty Girls' was Britney's song and video but Iggy totally took it over as if it was hers. Iggy ordered everyone - including Britney - around as if she was directing the video," the source added.
According to the revelation, the artwork was "mutually agreed upon," but the soon to be Mrs. Young was the one who decided on the artwork and wanted it to be released as it's a collaboration, even though she is just featured on the single.
The second source also revealed that Azalea also tried to manipulate Britney about what they should wear on their performance at the Billboard Music Awards. But it turns out that Spears doesn't like to wear anything that is not to her liking.
The heat started when Azalea blames Britney Spears for the failed hit output of their duet 'Pretty Girls.' The rapper tweeted on Tweeter, explaining that the lack of success of their music has nothing to do with her. Even though their track landed at No. 29 on the Billboard Hot 100, Azalea thinks that they could have done more to promote their music.
