Chrissy Teigen Instagram: John Legend’s Supermodel Wife Battles Censorship – Just Like Chelsea Handler!

The Facebook-owned photo-sharing social network is known for its fairly conservative views on sharing n*des, and there have been celebrities in the past that have called the company out over sexism because this only occurs to women - and now there's someone else joining the fight against censorship, as Chrissy Teigen's Instagram takes a stand!

John Legend's wife will be appearing without her top on in an upcoming W Magazine photo shoot, and she wanted to share a snap of what her fans could expect through Chrissy Teigen's Instagram by posting a very not safe for work picture, that, to her dismay, was ultimately deleted.

According to Mashable, fashion photographers Mert and Marcus were the ones responsible for taking the original Chrissy Teigen Instagram snap, but who was behind the camera for the shoot wasn't any of the company's concern and a few minutes after the famous cover girl uploaded the picture, it was ultimately deleted.

USA Today reports that it took about 45 minutes for the company to take down Chrissy Teigen's Instagram pic, after having received more than 45 thousand likes in the time it was up, so it was popular enough to get abut 1,000 likes per minute.

This isn't the first time a major celebrity has issues with the company's policies, as others like Rihanna, Miley Cyrus and most famously Chelsea Handler have stood up in the past on the subject long before the deleted Chrissy Teigen Instagram post.

The campaign to have the company loosen its n*dity policy often occurs under the hashtag #freethenipple.

According to Complex, this is hardly the first time Teigen battles Instagram on the subject, as she had another barely clothed picture taken down in 2013 when she was celebrating reaching 200,000 followers.

After directly challenging the pic-sharing company until Chrissy Teigen's Instagram photo was taken down, the model said on her Twitter page that the n*pple "will be back."
