PepsiCo is looking for students with future-vision thinking and entrepreneurs from Brazil to submit their concepts and ideas for PepsiCo10, a digital incubator program.
PepsiCo10 began three years ago with the goal of recognizing upcoming technologies that could be applied to the company's brand to inspire consumers to increase sales. PepsiCo10 Brazil is to be the first of such programs in South America which will focus on the emerging Brazilian market. The categories will include; Business sustainability, joining Entertainment, Mobile and Retail.
PepsiCo10 Brazil's goal is to focus on engaging students who are tech-savvy.
PepsiCo10 U.S. proved to be very successful. The company got over 500 submissions. The program allowed PepsiCo to get a fresh look on trends in technology like Social TV, crows-sourced content creation and others.
In 2011, the company built on that momentum with same program in Europe called PepsiCo10 Europe, ideas and plans were submitted by applicants from 18 countries with effect of piloting marketing projects with company brands like Pepsi MAX, Doritos and Quaker.
PepsiCo10 Brazil will began with a reception and panel during event called Social Media Week Sao Paulo starting Sept. 25 and finishing on Sept 27. September 2012 to June 2013 is the time window during which students and entrepreneurs can submit their ideas, best 10 will be selected for implementing marketing programs for PepsiCo brands which may be either global or local.
