Hugh Jackman has been really good at keeping fans on their toes on whether Wolverine will appear on 'X-Men: Apocalypse' or not. When the actor was recently asked on whether he will reprise his role as the adamantium-clawed antihero Logan in the upcoming mutant movie, Hugh Jackman's simple response was, "Who knows?"
It looks like Kika NY knows. The custom leather goods company recently posted a few duffle bag sketches with the following caption:
"We were just asked to make a special duffle backpack for Hugh Jackman who is filming the new X MEN movie in Montreal. We started sketching - The bag will be ready next week- we will keep you posted! #hughjackman #Xmen #movie #backpack #special"
The company also described the duffle bag in the comments: "Made the duffle #2 for him in distressed dark brown w/walnut straps. Pics soon of the bag but not sure if we send it because of shady producer of photo shoot. ..sad."
Marvel has not yet confirmed whether Wolverine will appear in 'X-Men: Apocalypse' or not. Fans speculate that Hugh Jackman should return to the sequel, since Logan's fate was unresolved in 'X-Men: Days of Future Past.'
Jackman has also been questioned on whether he will do a cameo in another upcoming Marvel movie. There are speculations that Wolverine will square off with Wade Wilson in 'Deadpool.' The 'Les Miserables' actor has famously said, "They are definitely enemies in the comics and they always spark off well together, so I'd be open to that idea."
One actor who is certain that he won't appear in 'X-Men: Apocalypse' is Ian McKellen, who has previously played Magneto. The former Erik Lensherr denied all rumors by saying, "They are currently making the film and I'm not in it."
'X-Men: Apocalypse' is scheduled for release on May 27, 2016.
