A living legend and a comedy star in the rise are joining forces for the first time in what seems like a match made in heaven, as Madonna and Amy Schumer will be sharing the stage when the "Inside Amy Schumer" comedienne opens for the "Material Girl" herself in New York City!
The Madonna and Amy Schumer collaboration was announced via the comedienne's Twitter, when she posted an adorable "audition tape" where she's seen as a little girl in the late eighties singing to Madge's 1989 hit "Like a Prayer" and looking very much into it - a total dream come true!

According to Time Magazine, the Madonna and Amy Schumer collaboration will happen as the Queen of Pop kicks off the tenth global tour of her career next fall, on September 16, 17 and 19 at the iconic venues of Madison Square Garden and the Barclays Center in NYC. The Guardian reports that, even before the Madonna and Amy Schumer announcement, tickets for the three New York shows are already sold out online, although there are still a few Ticketmaster "official platinum seats" that could go as far up as $380 and $740, large sums that Madonna, the richest person in the music business (even beyond former Beatle Paul McCartney) has proven she can more than collect.
According to The Huffington Post, there's still no word on whether Madonna and Amy Schumer will actually share the stage at one point, as Schumer's supposed to be the opening act - though it'd be fantastic if they both sung one of Madonna's classic hits in the three NYC nights.
Over the past few months, Schumer has turned into one of the hottest new comedians out there, as her Comedy Central show "Inside Amy Schumer" gains further popularity.
