Batman and Superman have been some of the most easily recognized superheroes in history. Both DC characters have turned into pop icons since their inception as comic book heroes, and are almost always pitted against each other in their fans' debates.
The new movie 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' will finally see the two superheroes take their fight into the big screen. Despite Henry Cavill's claims that his Superman isn't likely to engage in a fist fight with Ben Affleck's Superman, netizens still want to see the heroes square off in an epic battle.
Stephen Amell, who portrays Justice League alumni Oliver Queen in the TV series 'Arrow,' recently had a Twitter Q&A. It was no surprise that one fan asked Green Arrow himself who he would side with: Batman or Superman.
Amell's answer was unexpected and hilarious.
The actor conducted the Q&A with the following instructions.
The questions started out rather simple, with Amell being asked about his day and what he liked about his job.
The fans soon started asking the important questions.
After which, Amell couldn't stop thinking about Beef Wellington Day. When @Nianholic_ asked, "@amellywood What is your favorite thing of talking with fans? Like right now. #AskAmell," the response was too obvious.
He did offer some insight about his character and clues to the upcoming season of 'Arrow.' He answered @LigiaPimenta's question, "@amellywood Wich super power would you like for Oliver? #AskAmell"
@sundaytrain asked, "@amellywood Hi Stephen, Three words describing 401? #AskAmell"
'Arrow' also stars Katie Cassidy, Colin Donnell, David Ramsey, Willa Holland and Emily Bett Rickards. The series has spawned a spin-off series 'The Flash,' which focuses on another member of the Justice League Barry Allen. Another spin-off show, 'Legends of Tomorrow,' is currently being developed.
Stephen Amell returns as Green Arrow when the fourth season airs later in 2015.
