Scott Baio's wife Renee is battling a with brain tumor and he is asking for prayers and support from the people.

The former Happy Days star posted the sad news on Facebook on Tuesday, revealing that they are just waiting for the result to see if it's operable.

The 54 year old wrote, that just few days ago, they learned that her wife is diagnosed with meningioma brain tumor. "Although 90% of these type of tumors are benign they can cause serious problems depending on the size of the tumor and the location."

He also added, that they are just waiting for the result to see the exact location and if it's operable. Scott also wrote that his wife Renee has a strong faith in God, she get through things during her rough times and become a better and stronger person.

During this wretched condition, the actor asks for nothing from the people, but only a spiritual gift, as he wrote "we ask for your prayers and support," he also shared that his wife is resilient during this tough time, "She refuses to even shed on tear, nor will she question God's will."

"Renee, Bailey and I will get through this and may we help educate others."

After his emotional post on Facebook he later tweeted on Tweeter, "Thank you for the prayers & support for my wife. Sometimes God throws you a curve ball."

In 2008, the Baios family faced difficult time when their daughter, Bailey, who is seven year old now, was tested and positive for a rare metabolic disorder but was all clear after she took two months of intensive testing.

Scott and his 46 year old wife have been married for seven years now and they only have one daughter Bailey DeLuca.
