Kylie Jenner is a big Snapchat fan where she usually shares selfies and crazy videos with her friends. On Wednesday night, the 17-year old took a different approach, sharing a message with her viewers about bullying.
Filming herself in a dark room, Kylie gets real about what she has gone through. The reality star spoke in a soft voice, and sounded like she was on the verge of tears as she tells her story to her nearly 4 million followers.
“I’ve been bullied since I’ve been nine…from the whole world, it feels like sometimes,” she admits. “I think I’ve done a good job at handing all this, but there’s bullies everywhere."
"So this is just a little late Snapchat to tell whoever has their own bullies that the only opinion that really matters is yours and to never change.”
Kylie may seem to have the perfect world - money, a loving family and a rumored boyfriend 25-year-old rapper Tyga. Unfortunately she was thrust into the spotlight from a young age, and she’s had to deal with the criticism from the public ever since.
Her late-night snapchat showed that being famous is not all fun and games.
The reality star made headlines over everything, even the simplest things, from her outfit and relationships to her changing looks.
The teen was forced to admit to enhancing her lips on an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, after there were speculations about her going under the knife.
Her lips even became a subject of a recent social media trend called 'The Kylie Jenner Challenge.'
Kylie grew up with famous sisters and has always been compared to her 19-year-old supermodel sister Kendall.
She has been spotted spending a lot of time with her rumored beau lately after her father Bruce Jenner transitioned into a woman.
But she also has gotten as many negative comments for her relationship with the rapper, considering their age difference.
Before signing off, Kylie made sure to assure everyone that she realizes how lucky she is for what she has. “This isn’t a pity party, though, don’t get it twisted,” she continues.
“This is to let others with bullies out there know that you’re not alone. Now goodnight, spread love. Love you all.”
