Eminem and Tech N9NE Collaboration Finally Finished!

When Tech N9ne released his collaboration with Eminem, "WWC2 (Speedom)," back in April, there were plenty of reasons for excitement. After all, two of rap's most technically gifted MCs were rhyming side-by-side. A few weeks later, that excitement snowballed, when Tech revealed that there was more on deck: "[Eminem] did the verse for nothing but a swap," he said. Well, it sounds like the Strange Music rapper has already kept up his end of the bargain, and dropped them a verse in exchange for his "WWC2″ appearance. "I paid him back already," Tech told KS 107.5, backstage at their Summer Jam over the weekend. "I think - I did the verse. I hope they use it. That's all I'm gonna say."

Though he didn't go into more details about what may happen in the next collab, the Kansas City native did reflect on the Special Effects standout. "I hold him as the best rapper I've ever heard," he said. "I expected him to do it, but it got down to the wire. My album was already in mastering. On the third day of mastering, he sent it already mastered."

And Eminem - widely considered one of the greatest ever - was looking for approval for his performance. "He called me and he was like, 'Man, I hope you like it; I hope it's perfect.' And I listened to it and it was beyond perfect. Because I sent him me and Krizz Kaliko's verses some months before, I only wanted 16 bars, and he gave me 23, 24, something like that. So he really felt it."

He wasn't the only one. Tech says that Eminem was excited for the track and, in Tech's mind, the song was better than he hoped for. "He called me," Tech N9ne says. "He's like, 'I hope you like it. I hope it's perfect.' I listened to it and it was perfect. It was beyond perfect. I sent him, me, and Krizz Kaliko's verses some months before and I only wanted 16 bars and he gave me 23, 24, something like that. So he really felt it."Tech N9ne says that he fulfilled his promise to return Eminem's favor.
