The First Lady of the United States visited Europe, met with Prince Harry and even brought gifts for Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
Michelle Obama touched down London on Monday for her two-day visit in the first leg of her European Tour. She boarded the Air Force One with first daughters, fourteen-year-old Sasha and sixteen-year-old Malia, and her mother, Marian Robinson.
E! Online reported that FLOTUS brought Ameican-made gifts for the babies of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. An official, who is travelling with Mrs. Obama, told reporters that Prince George, who will be turning two next month, got a red Berlin Flyer P-Wee Wagon.
Princess Charlotte, who is 6 weeks-old was given an Amish rocking chair and an Alpaca personalized baby blanket.
The U.S First Lady also shared a meeting with Prince Harry over a cup of tea at the Kensington Palace, and chatted about her "Let Girls Learn" campaign. A spokesperson from the palace reported that the prince was "very pleased to host" the American visitors and felt "delighted" to meet the first daughters too.
The United States and the United Kingdom will be in partnership to develop an easy-access education for girls worldwide.
Michelle Obama immediately shared this good news during her visit in London's Mulberry School for Girls. Mrs. Obama delivered an inspiring message to the students of the all-girl school saying, "with an education from this amazing school, you all have every chance you need to rise above the noise and fulfill every one of your dreams."
Aside from attaining a good education, the FLOTUS also encourages students to eat healthy and stay active.
After her brief stay in London, Michelle Obama's group then flew to Italy on Wednesday for the second leg of her European tour.
Daily Mail UK reported that Mrs. Obama got in-touch with the middle school students during a cooking demonstration at the James Beard American Restaurant in Milan, this time sharing the importance of eating wisely, together as a family.
