‘Breaking Bad’ Vodka, ‘Heisenberg,’ Blue Meth Color – Walter White And Jesse Pinkman Would Be Proud! [PHOTO]

There's no denying that the AMC show about a high school chemistry teacher who turns into a drug lord in Albuquerque, New Mexico, has become a pop culture icon since the time of its release, earning both the love of fans and critics ever since - and now entering their livers too, with the new official "Breaking Bad" vodka!

Besides the Heisenberg look (consisting of a goatee, bald head and a fedora hat), the blue meth has turned into one of the most iconic parts of the show since it first appeared in the Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul-led series, and that's where the "Breaking Bad" vodka takes its color.

According to CNN, in reality the blue comes from the bottle and not the "Breaking Bad" vodka in itself, but the wink towards the iconic "product" is just the same, as a Los Angeles-based distillery releases a limited edition of this Heisenberg-themed drink.

People Magazine reports that the distillery behind this "Breaking Bad" vodka is Blue Ice Company, a brand owned by the larger 21st Century Spirits, who have committed themselves to the "perfect batch" of the drink to honor both the quality of the show and that of chemistry genius turned bad Walter White.

According to The Drinks Business, the "Breaking Bad" vodka, "Heisenberg," hardly marks the first time a pop culture event gets its own spirits drink, and the show's creator Vince Gilligan pointed this out himself.

"The Dude had his White Russians, the Blues Brothers had their Night Train ... and now Heisenberg has his very own Blue Ice Vodka," said Gilligan, now currently working on the show's prequel "Better Call Saul," also on AMC. "I'm counting on our fans to use it in the creation of a great many delicious cocktails. I'm getting thirsty just thinking about it."

The "Breaking Bad" vodka, in its limited edition available from this summer, is now available for purchase online for $27 a bottle, and it'll be appearing in stores this summer for drinks where others are forced to say its name.
