Emma Watson Shines On The New Trailer Of Her Movie "Regression"

Former child star Emma Watson, known for playing the role of Hermione Granger in Harry Potter is back with a new film called "Regression" and the trailer alone has already shown her brilliant skills as an actress.

Watson (Angela in Regression) is set to work with a former Harry Potter co-star David Thewlis (known as Professor Remus Lupin from HP). This is not the Harry Potter reunion fans would expect because the movie is quite dark according to People Magazine. Watson plays a young girl being sexually abused by her father (David Dencik).

Another veteran actor is going to be working alongside Watson and it's none other than Ethan Hawke. In the story, Watson's dad confessed that he was guilty of the accusations made by his daughter about him to Detective Bruce Kenner, which is Hawke's character.

CBS said that the movie falls under the category of thriller since the actress will show a different level of spooky with its viewers. The trailer is set on the 90's scene where the detective is looking for answers about how Watson's character got into a point where she was finding it hard to remember things in her life. It was as if she was hypnotized by some cult and it's Kenner's job to find that organization that is behind all this.

Us Magazine also noticed how frightening the trailer is. This is the first time that Watson and Thewlis will be seen in the silver screen again since the second part of the Harry Potter Deathly Hallows back in 2011. There is no doubt that her acting skills even leveled up from playing a schoolgirl to a sexually abused young woman who have no recollection of things in her life.

Regression is scheduled to hit the cinemas in the United States on August 28, 2015/
