Victor Espinoza Jockey Winnings: After Triple Crown Win, American Pharoah Jockey Donates Earnings To Charity ... And Rides With Jimmy Fallon! [VIDEO]

Wining the Triple Crown is an achievement so rare that only 12 racehorses have done so in the past, with American Pharoah being the most recent one last weekend after having won the Belmont Stakes - and now it has come out that Victor Espinoza's jockey winnings after this major achievement have been donated to a cancer charity.

Espinoza is the only jockey in history to have had three chances to win the Triple Crown in his career, first with War Emblem, later California Chrome until finding that the third time's the charm with champion American Pharoah - and Victor Espinoza's jockey winnings are now going to those in need.

According to Mother Nature Network, Victor Espinoza's jockey winnings, a total of $80,000, to City of Hope, a research and treatment center for children with cancer in California; and it's not the first time the jockey gives back to the world following a big win.

"I won the Triple Crown right now, but I don't make any money because I'm donating all the money to the City of Hope," said the rider following his Belmont Stakes victory, speaking about Victor Espinoza's jockey winnings.

Breitbart reports, however, that the historic win didn't boost the generous vein only for Victor Espinoza's jockey winnings, as the horse's trainer, Bob Baffert, also put $50,000 to his favorite racing charities: the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund, the Old Friends Farm and the California Retirement Management Account, as the latter two provide care for those race horses that have retired and keep them from an unpleasant death.

It's the owner of American Pharoah giving the most back, however, as Ahmad Zayat gave $500,000 to the Frisch School in New Jersey as well as giving an undisclosed amount to the Sinai Special Needs Institute.

After the major success and in the midst of Victor Espinoza's jockey winnings announcement, SB Nation reports that "The Tonight Show" host Jimmy Fallon invited the history-making jockey to win the "Quadruple Crown" in a game - which you can watch below!
