Porsche Featured In Racing Game Forza Horizon 2

Racing game Forza Horizon 2 will add 10 Stuttgart's Porsche cars in their roster as reported by TopGear. Including a line of Porsche vehicles in video games has been exclusive to EA Games for a long time.

The Porsche expansion pack is now available online for only $10.

In the history of racing video games, Porsche car was rarely seen because of EA's tight partnership. They had exclusive rights which make them hold on to Porsche vehicles in their games. Other than EA racing games, Porsche cars can only be seen in Forza Motorsport 4.

The agreement between EA, Porsche, and Xbox has already been made, that still allows EA to maintain the exclusive rights they have on Porsche vehicles in games.

In this DLC expansion pack available for Microsoft's Forza Horizon 2, 10 luxurious cars will be representing each eras in Porsche history.

MCV Pacific listed the Porsche cars that will be available in the DLC expansion pack. Included in the list are 1970 Porcsche 914/6, 1982 Porsche 911 Turbo 3.3, 1987 Porsche 959, 1989 Porsche 944 Turbo, 2003 Porsche Carrera GT, 2012 Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 (997), 2014 Porsche 911 Turbo S, 2014 Porsche 918 Spyder, 2015 Porsche Cayman GTS, and the 2015 Porsche Macan Turbo.

The Forza Motorsport series is a popular and acclaimed series of racing games for Xbox gaming consoles. The developer of the game is Turn 10 Studios and the publisher is Microsoft Studios.

Forza Motorsport series was first launched in May 2005, and as of February 2010, the game sold over to 10 million copies. Forza Motorsport is the competition that emulates the success of Gran Turismo racing game for the Sony's Playstation Console.

The release of Forza Motorsport versions 1 to 5 was a big success for the company. This led to the issue of Forza Horizon 1 and 2 series in 2012 and 2014.

The coming launch of Forza Motorsport 6 later this year will already include the Porsche vehicles.
