"I Cannot Be In Love With A Man. I'm Gay"- Ingrid Nilsen Comes Out On YouTube

YouTube celebrity Ingrid Nilsen who has become known for her beauty related tutorial videos came out today, saying she's gay to her 3.3 million subscribers. It was an emotional video that Nilsen posted that after she finally said the words, "I'm gay," she felt relieved that she got that out of her system.

Nilsen is now making more buzz online with her coming out confession more than her beauty related videos. She explained everything in almost 20 minutes the struggles that she has to go through being gay and just suppressing everything that she is inside. Now, she feels that it's time to be honest and true to who she is to everyone who knows her. Time Magazine also featured her on their site and noticed that her video already gained about 900,000 views in just 8 hours since she posted it.

Perez Hilton congratulated the YouTube star for coming out and he couldn't be more proud for such honesty and bravery in what she did. He told her that this marks the first day of her life.

There are lots of things that Nilsen answered regarding her sexuality and why it took her a long time to come out. One of which is the fact that she came from a family where being gay is not universally accepted. She has always known it even at the early age of 4. Nilsen said that the answer to when did she actually know it is simple yet it's a little bit complicated to deal with.

The famous makeup guru on YouTube was also known for dating men and she had a bit of a meltdown when she mentioned how grateful she is for the last man she dated, as he accepted who she is and how she has really liked girls ever since. She made it clear that she can never be in love with a man, nor give herself to a man physically or emotionally.
