While they're notorious for keeping their personal life private, Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling have turned into one of the world's favorite couples since they first began dating back in September 2011; and every time either one of them speaks about the other, sparks fly!
While not as outspoken in their love as Chris Pratt and Anna Faris are (who are famous for gushing about each other during interviews and in social media), Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling keep a mostly low profile, although they often collaborate with each other - most recently, in Gosling's directing debut last year.
According to People Magazine, the Oscar-nominated actor recently spoke about Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling's relationship, as they teamed up for the first time since meeting on the set of "The Place Beyond the Pines," where they co-starred with Bradley Cooper.
E! Online reports that, in a recent interview, the actor opened up about Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling's relationship as they worked together, this time with her being under his orders as he was not only the director of "Lost River," but also the film's screenwriter - and he said the stakes in the relationship become higher when working together on the professional level.
"She indirectly picked things that became very important to different people involved," he told Sunday Style magazine, speaking about what was it like on set for Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling working together once again. "She hates credit and she'll even be mad that I'm giving her that credit. But she was very helpful in so many ways."
Besides Mendes, "Lost River" featured an all-star cast that included "Doctor Who" actor Matt Smith, "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.LD." star Iain De Caestecker and even grown-up former child star Saoirse Ronan.
A few months back, Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling had their first child, daughter Esmeralda Amada.
