Jill Duggar has broken her social media silence by posting a sweet photo of baby Israel two weeks after TLC suspended 19 Kids And Counting because of Josh Duggar's molestation scandal.
Jill has not posted anything on her social media accounts for more than two weeks. Her last post was on May 22 where she posed with sister, and fellow molestation victim Jessa (Duggar) Seewald.
"So glad to spend the day with my sista! @jessaseewald #sisters," she captioned.
Jessa's last post was on May 19, it was a photo of her and her husband Ben Seewald.
She greeted Ben on his birthday and posted a long message along with it showing her love for her 'best friend and favorite person in the whole wide world.'
Jill did not allow the scandal to ruin his son's birthday and finally took to Instagram to share a smiling photo of the adorable 2-month old.
The 24-year-old mom wrote: "Happy 2 month birthday #IsraelDavidDillard! We are so blessed to be your parents! May you grow up to love Jesus and serve others! #2monthbirthday @derickdillard"
Jill is married to Derick Dillard who uploaded on his Instagram account the same photo of their son and posted an almost identical message himself.
The news broke following a 2006 felony investigation that the 19 Kids and Counting clan's eldest son, Josh, had allegedly molested five underage girls when he was a minor.
The family faced the scandal in interviews with Fox News' Megyn Kelly. Jill and Jessa sat down with Kelly separately from their parents. Both sisters defended their brother, calling the inappropriate touching as ‘subtle’ and 'mild.'
“Josh was a boy, a young boy in puberty, and a little too curious about girls,” Jessa said. "And that got him into some trouble. And he made some bad choices, but, really, the extent of it was mild, inappropriate touching on fully clothed victims, most of it while girls were sleeping.”
"We've already forgiven Josh. We've already moved on," Jill said.
