The Rock just announced his latest endeavor on Saturday night, a variety show entitled, "Rock The Troops." Dwayne Johnson took to announce the news at Spike TV Guy's Choice Awards.

The variety show is expected to have a star-studded roster that will entertain and support the U.S. troops based in foreign countries.

Backstage at the awards show, Johnson expressed how important it is for him to support the troops. "It is so important to me to give back to the troops. I really want to create something special for our boys and girls who are overseas and hopefully we do such a good job that we can do it again and again."

He added, "I have military in my family, some vets and two Navy SEALs. That was the genesis of that." The event is a joint collaboration between Spike TV and Seven Bucks Productions, which is partially founded by The Rock and Dany Garcia.

At the Guy's Choice Awards, Dwayne Johnson also shared that he "[anticipates] a lot of my friends who are celebrities, in Hollywood, sports and music, to be a part of this epic event for our troops."

No details or venue have yet been announced for the event. But a press release from Seven Bucks Productions, via TIME, shared that the celebrity roster will include people from "the world of music, movies, comedy, sports and more."

Casey Patterson, an executive producer for the event, also shared Johnson's dedication to the U.S. Troops. "Dwayne Johnson has always made supporting the brave men and women serving overseas a priority throughout his career."

Patterson continued, "Our Mission is to honor, inspire and entertain in an epic way, as only The Rock can. He'll bring all the heart, humor and big-bad energy that the world loves him for, to this show. I couldn't have more dedicated partners than Dwayne, Dany and the Seven Bucks team for this very worthy event."

Fans can watch out for "Rock The Troops" in 2016 on Veterans Day.
