At 93 years of age, the "Golden Girls" Emmy winner isn't only still working, but seemingly altogether at the top of her career as she continues to appear on television and joke around with her famously spicy humor - now, also on Betty White's Instagram!
After leaving "Hot in Cleveland" following successful years, the actress and television host is now celebrating by creating a new Betty White Instagram account, posting her first photo ever with the cast of the TV Land sitcom toasting to the series finale, as she thanked her co-stars for their time together since the show premiered in 2010.
According to E! Online, in less than two days after having created the Betty White Instagram account, the iconic television actress already has more than 76,000 followers on the popular photo-sharing social media site, after she posted the picture on her Twitter account, which amounts to over 1.2 million followers as it is.
As The Independent reports, Betty White's Instagram is hardly the first time the "Bringing Down the House" actress appears on social media and turns heads; back in 2010, she appeared at a Super Bowl Snickers ad that later became one of the most-watched YouTube videos at the time, reaching millions in the younger audience crowd for the beloved 99 year-old comedienne.
According to CNN, American basic cable channel TV Land announced they were canceling "Hot in Cleveland" after five seasons only last November, and the show focused on three ex-Hollywood women who by chance end up living in Cleveland, Ohio, prompting a lot of hilarious situations - unfortunately, unless they're shown as throwbacks, these won't be on Betty White's Instagram account.
"For my first Instagram post I wanted to say how much I love these girls dearly. What a great time we had. #HOTFinale #Thanksforthelaughs," White wrote, posting an image of herself with Jane Leeves, Wendie Malick and Valeri Bertinelli sipping champagne.
In any case, Betty White's Instagram account seems like the logical next step for this very funny lady!
