Jason Alexander Susan ‘Seinfeld’: George Costanza Talks About Fiancée’s Death With Howard Stern … Not That There’s Anything Wrong With That

It's been nearly two decades since the show that made Jerry Seinfeld one of the richest comedians in the world ended in 1998, but fans will never let go of what's considered the greatest sit-com of all time, always craving for more information - which is why Jason Alexander's Susan "Seinfeld" revelation makes headlines!

A few days back, Jerry and co-star Julia Louis-Dreyfus met up again during the last David Letterman episode in "Late Show," and the actress who played Elaine made a joke about being in "yet another" disappointing series finale, making the crowd roar with laughter - and now it's a well-kept secret being poured about Jason Alexander's Susan in "Seinfeld."

According to Time Magazine, the actor who became famous by playing mega-loser George Costanza (famously based on Larry David, who later went on to make "Curb Your Enthusiasm") recently spoke with celebrity radio host Howard Stern about Jason Alexander's Susan in "Seinfeld," revealing why the character was killed off.

The Daily Mail reports that the reason Jason Alexander's Susan in "Seinfeld" was killed off was for more than comedic reasons: in fact, the actor found it impossible to work with the actress who played the role, Heidi Swedberg, who's later gone on to have roles in shows like "Gilmore Girls" and more recently "Hawthorne."

The problem wasn't personal, it seems, but Jason Alexander's Susan in "Seinfeld" wasn't in tune with the rest of the cast members, being on a different level than they were.

"You know what? It's f-ing impossible. It's impossible," Alexander said of Swedberg, stressing that she liked the actress personally but was unable to work with her. "I couldn't figure out how to play off of her. Her instincts for doing a scene, where the comedy was, and mine were always misfiring. And she would do something, and I would go, 'OK, I see what she's going to do - I'm going to adjust to her.' And I'd adjust, and then it would change."

CNN reports that, after the Jason Alexander's Susan "Seinfeld" comments came out, there was a wave of hate towards the actress in social - but Mr. Costanza himself said on Twitter that he didn't mean to cause any harm and that he was sure the real reason was because creators didn't want to see his character married.
