After presenting an award to Amy Schumer at the 2015 Peabody Awards, Tina Fey opted to congratulate the "Inside Amy Schumer" star in an unexpected way.

Before presenting the award, Fey commended Schumer's efforts. "In a culture where young female entertainers are expected to be sexy without being too sexual, Amy's honesty is making everyone furious."

"Amy Schumer is killing it, as the agents like to say. But usually they are lying. But in this case it is true. Amy is killing it. She is the biggest deal in comedy right now," Tina added.

Fey then goes on to talk about some of her intentions for the night. "That's why I really wanted to come down here tonight in a Madonna kind of way try to like feed off her youth and maybe suck her soul out in a very awkward, staged lesbian kiss," Tina joked.

She then continued, "But when I pitched that idea to Amy's camp, they came back with such an immediate yes that it kind of grossed me out."

Fey concluded her speech by saying, "So, instead, I think we should give you like a really prestigious award. So let's take a look at some videotape of your nonsense."

After Tina Fey's lengthy and awesomely hilarious speech and watching clips, Schumer went up on stage. Tina then kissed the Peabody Award winner and "sucked out" her soul.

In her acceptance speech, Amy Schumer expressed her gratitude to the Comedy Central network, her crew, and the University of Georgia.

Amy also joked about her on-stage makeout with Fey. "We thought we were making this secret feminist show and people weren't going to catch on what we were doing," Amy shared.

The Peabody Awards was held on Sunday at the Cipriani Wall Street in New York City. The formal awards gala was hosted by Fred Armisen.
