Los Angeles County police are searching for Stuart Lynn Dunn, a man convicted for stalking actress Mila Kunis. According to Deputy Chief Reaver Bingham of the LA Country probation department, Dunn escaped from the Olive Vista Behavioural Health Centre in Pomona, California. He escaped from the facility last Saturday, May 31, 2015.
Authorities' suspect Dunn escaped through a small bathroom window and scaled a barbed wire lined fence. His disappearance was first reported when a caretaker at the facility noticed he was taking longer than usual in the shower.
"We're treating him as dangerous," Bingham said Monday. "We never know the state of mind of an individual. He does have a fixation on the original victim, so that's why."
Law Enforcement officials claim that Stuart Lynn Dunn had very few local contacts and no leads on his whereabouts have yet to materialize.
In January 2013, Dunn was sentenced to six months rehabilitation and five years' probation after repeated attempts at trying to contact the 31 year old actress.
In 2012, Kunis filed a restraining order against Dunn after he was found residing in a vacant apartment she owned. Dunn violated this restraining order a few months later when he stalked Kunis outside her gym for three days straight. The 30 year old Dunn pleaded no contest to stalking the actress in 2013.
Law Enforcement officials have confirmed that Kunis, best known for her roles in Black Swan, Jupiter Rising, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and That 70's Show, has been notified of Dunn's escape. However Mila's camp has yet to make an official statement regarding the matter.
Deputy Bingham could not discuss whether the actress had been given protection saying there is a law enforcement protocol for such situations but he was not at liberty to divulge such information.
