Ever since the official announcement that beloved 90s family show "Full House" would be getting a sequel through a short Netflix series, audiences and nostalgic fans of the original have wondered about the "Fuller House" cast, as it was expected that the biggest stars of the show would return for their characters.
While the Olsen twins have already confirmed they will not be part of the "Fuller House" cast (rumor has it that Ashley even suffers from Lyme disease), now, besides John Stamos, there are two other confirmed grown-ups from the original show: dad Danny Tanner (Bob Saget) and aunt Becca (Lori Laughlin).
As it had been previously reported, the "Fuller House" cast will be led by three of the original children of the show, namely Candace Cameron Bure (D.J.), Jodie Sweetin (Steph) and Andrea Barber (Kimmy Gibbler), in a story that's basically the same one as the original, only gender-switched: pregnant D.J.'s now a widow and so she moves back to her father's old home with her younger sister and her childhood best friend.
According to Deadline, the first addition to the "Fuller House" cast was announced this week was Lori Loughlin, who played Aunt Becky (Uncle Jesse's wife and the mother of his twins) in the show, who confirmed in "Good Morning America" earlier this week by saying she was "very excited" to be a part of the reboot - and it really makes a lot of sense, considering her on-screen husband is the one producing!
Later, The Verge reported that there'd be another key beloved figure back in the "Fuller House" cast: Danny Tanner himself and the voice of future Ted Mosby in "How I Met Your Mother," Bob Saget.
The house just got a little fuller!
Dave Coulier, who played uncle Joey, has also stated he'll appear in at least one episode of the reboot.
As the regulars are confirmed, it's time to wait for the newer "Fuller House" cast members!
